Now Available: Colin King Debuts Furniture for Audo Copenhagen ​ ​

We are excited to share Crescent, the recent collection by stylist Colin King for Audo Copenhagen. The collection is officially available and marks Colin’s first foray into furniture for Audo – a new chapter in his creative partnership with the Danish design brand.

Crescent Shelving by Colin King explores how furniture can serve as both utility and expression, translating his artistic sensibility into functional sculpture. Defined by its crescent-shaped silhouette – flat at the front and gracefully curved at the back – Crescent is designed to be experienced from every angle. More than just shelving, its open form allows light and sightlines to pass through, making it equally effective as a room divider – an object that transforms a space, as much as it serves it.

“I wanted to create something that could live at the center of a room,” King says. “Not furniture to be placed against a wall, but a piece with presence: ​ something sculptural, yet deeply functional.”

Joachim Kornbek Engell-Hansen, Audo's Brand and Design Director, notes that the collaboration with Colin arrived at the right moment in their long-standing creative partnership that began with the creation of several smaller design objects before evolving to large-scale furniture pieces.

"Our collaboration with Colin has always centered around the idea of display — of elevating and framing objects, and of highlighting what we choose to put forward," says Engell-Hansen. "In many ways, we have been working on Crescent since the very beginning of our partnership, but it has required a certain maturation process to arrive at the right architectural and design language. Crescent represents that clarity."

Tall and Low

Available in two heights, H60 (60cm tall) and H173 (173cm tall), Crescent’s proportions are generous yet grounded. The smaller version functions beautifully behind a sofa or as a console, while the taller version lends structure and rhythm to larger spaces. Both feature adjustable feet for precise levelling, ensuring perfect balance across any surface. Crafted in lacquered oak, Crescent’s rounded corners and smooth contours soften its substantial form
