Audo Copenhagen Presents "Quiet Grandeur" at Audo House

This exhibition during 3daysofdesign 2026 previewed a series of new Audo designs that explore a calmer and more enduring idea of contemporary living.

Presented within the concept shop, the exhibition showcased a series of new designs by Norm Architects, Danielle Siggerud, Atelier Axo, Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen, and other celebrated designers, alongside curated pieces from Audo's wider collection.

While Quiet Grandeur remains the central narrative within Audo House, a series of supporting experiences throughout the building extend and deepen the atmosphere of the exhibition: a dedicated presentation celebrating the 90-year anniversary of Flemming Lassen’s ‘The Tired Man’ acts as a cultural and emotional anchor within the wider experience, while a nearby Cinema Room offers a more immersive layer of storytelling centered around the legacy of the Lassen brothers.

The Tired Man,"Den trætte mand," was launched at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers’ Guild Exhibition in 1936 and has since become an icon of Danish design. Pictured above is the Tired Man Arm Chair by Flemming Lassen, introduced in an anniversary 2026-edition color way.

Six new designs set to launch in September 2026 – spanning chairs, tables and lamps – are integrated throughout the exhibition alongside hero designs from the Audo portfolio, creating a dialogue between contemporary form, craftsmanship and enduring materiality. Across the space, softened silhouettes, sculptural curves, solid wood, natural weaving and earthy tonal materials create interiors that feel calm, grounded and graceful – subtly reminiscent of Nordic interpretations of classicism.

Large-scale painted dividers and artworks developed in collaboration with Mika Liebe further reinforce the exhibition’s layered visual identity and tactile atmosphere, introducing a sense of rhythm, softness and architectural depth throughout the space.

Audo also partnered with Copenhagen cocktail and vinyl destination, Bird, to create an intimate bar experience shaped by music, hospitality and atmosphere, while the courtyard presents a preview of Danielle Siggerud’s up-coming outdoor collection for Audo. Together, these experiences expand the world of Quiet Grandeur across Audo House — reinforcing Audo’s vision of design as central to how people gather, connect and feel.

The Quiet Grandeur concept and exhibition have been developed in close collaboration with Norm Architects and Christian Møller Andersen, bringing together a shared sensibility rooted in atmosphere, materiality, and enduring Scandinavian design values.

About Audo Copenhagen

Audo Copenhagen brings together a century of Danish design values with a global outlook.

At the heart of every Audo piece is an understanding of how people live, gather and connect – resulting in furniture, lighting and objects shaped by quality, purpose and an ethos of soft minimalism.

Rooted in Copenhagen but reaching far beyond it, Audo designs environments that invite comfort, creativity and, most importantly, connection. Working in close collaboration with leading designers – and in constant dialogue between heritage and contemporary – Audo delivers a residential take that is deliberate and deeply liveable.

This is where we meet: through thoughtful design, in real spaces, and in the feelings that endure long afterwards.
